In 2026, our family completed a lengthy home renovation which included the addition of a basement bar. We aimed to create a space to gather with friends and family that felt bold, authentic and personal.

During this process, we discovered Artisan Leaf of Wilson, North Carolina . Inspired by our family’s history in the tobacco industry and Artisan Leaf’s unique offerings, we collaborated on a completely custom bar surface.

After exchanging a handful of emails and calls to determine details and specifications for our dark fired burley tobacco bar top, we built a rapport with the team from Artisan Leaf. Upon delivery of the bar itself, the quality and craftsmanship exceeded our lofty expectations.

What started as a transaction developed into a professional relationship, and we are proud to offer these handcrafted tobacco finished furnishings and gifts throughout Kentucky as Maysville Road.

We are building a network of retailers and trade partners to help bring these products to market. For larger residential and hospitality installations, we act as a consultant.
